Dance Jam Ball

Dance Jam Ball is an experimental mess of a project I'm making for the Girly Game Jam hosted by Makritza! It started out with a sort of rhythm game/visual novel style in mind but has since become something quite a bit different. I think I really need to cut my teeth more on music production to really delve into that, and on top of that I have been pretty sick during my time making this, so as it is this is more just a proof of concept for some vague ideas where I'm focusing on the aesthetic elements. Either way, hope you enjoy and would love to hear any feedback!
CONTROLS:
Enter - Start game as well as advance story sections
Escape - Exit game
WASD or Arrow keys - Move character

Made in Game Maker Studio 2, some assets made in MS Paint
